Travels
Amsterdam - Gent during rushour: 4 hours
Gent Amsterdam at midnight: 2 hours.
Yawn. Tired, but a good night, even if the traffic was a nightmare. A very different performance of what I have seen up to now, but interesting. My Shakespeare is really, really bad, but I'm now curious and want to explore more. Of course, this can only mean I haven't come to grips yet with the concept of not being able to do everything in one life. ;) I figured I have, rationally, just not emotionally.
Great to see the gang again. Feeling a little awkward and a little intrusive cuse of the scary groupies, which kind of makes me feel like a scary groupie too. I don't think I'm really scary, or a groupie for that matter.Maybe just a little scary at times, but never intentionally. It's more not being able to find a mask or behaviour that fits the situation.
Having said that, I suspect I'm just tired and not making a lot of sense.
Almost weekend, yay. I need sleep.

You were neither awkward nor intrusive. The awkwardness came from the fact that the restaurant was (or at least, appeared to be) full and we - including you - had a booking, but others who had been invited on the spur of the moment didn't. That kind of thing can feel a little uncomfortable sometimes, but all you have to do is shrug your shoulders and accept that it happens.
You're not scary either.
Honestly, such bullshit :-)
hmmm
I can't wait to read more about this evening!
As I sit here avoiding scouring my kitchen for tomorrow's evil mother-in-law visit....
