Did you dress up today? See any good costumes?
Hell yeah! Well, not strictly today, or on Halloween, but the Halloween party I attended was last Saturday at the Boscolo Hotel in Budapest. I just finished uploading the pictures, so I'll just shut up and talk in images :-)
These following pictures are just to give you an idea of what kind of venue we're talking about here:
For entertainment and decorations we had... Bellydancers a DJ and a
couple of crowd. The middle bellydancer was a rabid cleaning lady!
Don't you just love the SPAR handbag?
And on to the better costumes:
Kelly and Flavio (as always) made a huge effort. Kelly has won "best costume" several years in a row. Flavio was carrying around a bin bag filled with bodyparts, while Kelly was just plain scary and wrong. I love the little fox around his neck. In the picture above, he still looks vaguely normal. He was handing out business cards which read Mr. Roddy Normous. The picture below is Kelly after he shed his coat. From then on, things got a little disturbing. (Check the thumb! And don't you just love the way his cock extends to his knee?)
And then of course there was my hosts, Vika and Cesar. Vika's concept was a dryad, but she very quickly got nicknamed "The Wood Nympho". Cesar was a Bodhisattva statue, a statue of a young Buddha. Check the venue behind him! That's where food was served. Not that I could actually enjoy it, as will be explained below.
The period costumes always do well as well. I suspect there's a partyshop in Budapest that rents them out.
Her'es some that were (apparently) really easy to do, but still look absolutely stunning:
There's always a nun in the mix as well. This one was very pregnant. Don't you just love the cardinal's innocent look
And of course, my friend Matija, who's about 7 feet tall, and won best costume. Here he is with his friend, checking out the chicks, then one of his hood and with his bride to be.
And last but not least, yours truly :-) Flavio started it, honest guv! The wingspan kind of gave me trouble socialising, eating, drinking and dancing, but I got kind of used to it at the end of the night and ended up shuffling across the dancefloor. I was kind of glad when I could shed the wings though. Phew.
